Here is yet another Webster County Missouri accident at Highway 60 and Highway A. This one involving a motorcycle. A husband and wife from Seymour sustained what the Missouri State Highway Patrol described as moderate injuries Sunday evening in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of U.S. 60 and Highway A, about four miles west of Seymour in Diggins.
The Missouri Highway Patrol said the injured parties were westbound on U.S. 60 on a 2003 Suzuki motorcycle when a southbound 2000 Chevrolet Lumina attempted to cross the four-lane highway from Highway A failed to yield to the motorcycle causing the motorcycle to hit the car on its driver’s side.
Unfortunately, accidents at this Webster County Missouri intersection are far too common when people try to beat the oncoming traffic on Highway 60.
