Often I am asked what can I do to help my chances of winning my Harrison Arkansas Social Security disability case? Quite simply hire a disability lawyer who practices in the Harrison Arkansas area and help your disability lawyer.
If you do not meet with your lawyer during the meeting for an extended period of time and have the opportunity to discuss your case with the lawyer, you should not hire that law firm. The fact that they handle hundreds or thousands of cases a year is not necessarily a good thing. Chances are the guy in the ad is not going to handle or even look at your case. Do you want your claim to be “just a number” in their office or do you want personal help?
How can you help your disability lawyer?
Help gather evidence. We cannot create evidence for you. You must see your medical or mental health professional and document your impairments, limitations and problems. The process will likely take a year or longer but you should not wait to get started.
The moment you no longer have insurance, you need to start looking for free clinics or low cost clinics in your county. Apply for Medicaid, apply for charitable discounts from not for profits, seek out sliding scale providers such as Mission Outreach, the Northwest Arkansas Free Health Center. Contact your local county health department for other options.
Try to find former co-workers who will write letters for your outlining the problems you had with your job. Letters from friends who know about your problems and how they impact your life on a daily basis can be helpful also.
Let your lawyer know what is going on with you. Let them know about what treatment you are receiving.

Do not delay as you only have 60 days to ask for a reconsideration if you live in Arkansas or Oklahoma and only 60 days to file an appeal if your reconsideration is denied.
